Prosper.com is a people-to-people lending marketplace. Here you can earn pretty decent interest by lending money to others or you can borrow money (up to $25,000). It is sort of like eBay where you bid on loans. For a limited time you can earn $25 for joining prosper.com to lend or borrow money.
